Conversations with Maria Knee

Finally, I am able to post my interview with Cheryl Lykowsky, where she shared her work in raising monarch butterflies at home. This interview was recorded over a week ago  but family and work events prevented me from posting this sooner. I enjoyed talking with and learning from Cheryl. We found that we had this common interest in monarchs during a WCA chat. I'm hoping that this particular show will be beneficial to others wanting to know more about monarch butterflies, particularly as they relate to classroom work. Thank you, Cheryl for agreeing to be my guest.

I would like Conversations to be a show where I exchange information with other educators about their interests and passions. By learning from each other, we can establish common gound and find ways to support one another. We all have lots to share. Through webcasting, I have extended my community across the globe. I never imagined being able to connect and learn from worldwide educators and an thankful that the WCA has made that possible. I do not think I could manage a weekly format, but perhaps there are other interns who are thinking along the same lines and we could each schedule a monthly show during the same weekly time block.

I hope you enjoy the first of many Conversations with Maria Knee.
