Do you Google? Do you knowingly Google? Do you Google with Gusto? Then, here is your chance to learn even more about Googleism and how it can be used in a classroom or work environment.
Join me, Elderbob, this weekend, July 28-30 at Knowplace.ca and on Sunday at WebCastAcademy for “Gaggle of Google”, an exploration of nine different elements of Google.inc. The Webcast (Skypecast) will begin on Sunday July 30, at 19:00 GMT.
What is Google all about? You are probably already aware of Google and its powerful search engine. But, did you know that Google is one of the world's most powerful business forces? Are you aware of all the different ways that Google has grabbed hold of elements of the internet and how influential they are in the electronic world? Well, spend a little time with us this weekend, and we will explore some of the various aspects of Google-ism that you may not be aware of.

· Google Maps
· Google Mail
· Mobile Google
· Google Talk Messenger
· The Google API
· Business Google
· Other assorted Google products and affiliations
The free OpenWeekend sessions at Knowplace are fun and informative. Knowplace offers a different session every Friday 9:00 AM (PDT) / 11:00 AM (GMT) to Sunday 3:00 PM (PDT)/ 10 PM (GMT). Join fellow Knowmates and interested participants from our virtual neighbourhood.

3. If you are asked for an enrolment key, you have arrived early (or we are a little late in opening it ); please come back when the course is open.
Though most of this week's "Gaggle of Google" course is asynchronous, we would like to welcome you in joining us on Sunday, July 30, at 14:00 (2:00 PM) Central ST - my time, or 19:00 PM GMT (Check the World Clock site for time variances) for the "Gaggle of Google" Skypecast. If you have not participated in a Skypecasts previously, then read more about Skypecasting here. You will need to download the latest version of Skype here, and you will also need a USB microphone and either headphone or speakers.
You can also join in the simultaneous text chats at either the Knowplace "Gaggle of Google" Moodle Text Chat Area or the WebCastAcademy Chat Area.
If you log on only to WebCastAcademy, you will not be able to access Knowplace course materials.
