Why do you want to learn to webcast?

On Saturday, May 6, several of "us" -- the technology-interested teachers in the New York City Writng Project -- will be presenting at a Teacher to Teacher converence where there will also be a guest speaker. I'm wondering if we can get something up and going by then... for then.

Susan Ettenheim, Thomas Locke, and I are the core of a small group of technology teachers who get together every Wednesday from 9:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. (EST). We talk about the wikis, blogs, inspiration projects, and any other research and writing project that we might be working on. So far I've been putting these shows up with my podcast at http://nycwp.org/paulallison But it's time to find a place online for this "show" by itself.

Susan, Thomas (Teb), and I are talking. Do we stay connected with the New York City Writing Project? Is it okay to just brainstorm or do we need to plan more? What sorts of guests might we want to invite?

While we talk, we've started a new site called Teachers Teaching Teachers http://teachersteachingteachers.wordpress.com. Please subscribe: http://feeds.feedburner.com/TeachersTeachingTeachers
