Student Tech Talk-Episode #5

Submitted by mjmontagne on Fri, 2008-06-13 11:43
Another edition of Student Tech Talk.  Topics of discussion:  recent flooding in Wisconsin, the new iPhone 3G, US Political campaign, mini-notebook computers, and planning for our 2008-2009 student webcast series.  Our first broadcast for the new school year will take place at 01:00 GMT on Sunday, September 14, 2008.  Alex will be in Singapore, Jack will be somewhere in either the eastern or central time zone, and I (Matt Montagne) will be located in the San Francisco Bay area.  Our goal is to have a monthly conversation with Alex in the mix from Singapore and then one other week night conversation each month (due to the time zone differences, Alex will only be able to join us on our weekend broadcasts).  I'm definitely looking forward to this student webcasting project next year.
